Represent clients in all real estate matters, including commercial, residential, refinances, new construction, 1031 exchanges, zoning applications, variances, appeals and subdivision applications.
Criminal Defense
Counsel clients and provide defenses for clients charged with: felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile cases, youthful offender matters, motor vehicle and drinking and driving offenses.
Civil Litigation/PERSONAL INJURY
Handle all civil litigation matters, including auto accident claims, dog bite claims, fall down cases, wrongful death cases, boundary disputes, breach of contract disputes, Will contests, tax appeals, school expulsions & debt collection.
Business Services
Handle the formation and dissolution of all business entities and the review and preparation of business agreements, including partnership agreements, operating agreements, stockholder agreements and buy/sell agreements.
Estate Planning
Assist clients throughout the estate planning process, from drafting Wills & Trusts to eliminating or substantially reducing federal and State estate taxes, to probating the estate. Preparation of Living Wills, Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney & Springing Powers of Attorney.
Municipal Representation
Represent clients before the Board of Assessment Appeals, Zoning Board of Appeals, Zoning Commission, Wetlands Commission and Planning Commission. Drafted and implemented zoning regulations for the Town of New Fairfield. Defended tax appeals brought against the Town of New Fairfield and filed tax appeals against the town on behalf of taxpayers. Drafted ordinances while working for the City of Danbury, Corporation Counsel's Office.
